Abstract

Three fictitious characters (P, M, and their musical friend MF), who represent the different disciplines involved in this research (psychology, mathematics / computer science, and musicology), continue their enthusiastic search in trying to unravel the mystery of timing in music performance. This time they find out about the kinematic approach to expressive timing, and discuss the possible relation between motion and music.
